This composition for flute and piano creates a tranquil atmosphere. beginning in G major, the flute has a beautiful, lyrical melody with the piano accompaniment playing flowing patterns to complement the opening theme. As the piece progresses, it moves through a few different keys and after the middle section, the original key of G major returns with the flute now playing a variation on the opening melody. As the piece draws to a close, the mood becomes calmer, slowing down as it modulates through different chord progressions to finish.
