This short piece is simple, yet effective with the use of a jolly melody with an octave style left hand accompaniment. it begins in D major and modulates in the middle quickly to B minor, then returns with the opening melody back in the major key to finish. The melody comprises of a hornpipe type style with the use of scales and runs to keep it moving continuously right to the end.
