Beschreibung This piece of music is expressive and lyrical with flute having the main solo melody and piano playing a chordal accompaniment in harmony. As the piece progresses it modulates to the relative G sharp minor and the piece becomes more dramatic as it builds to the end where the original opening theme returns back in B major on the flute to end.
